A Year’s Massage to Fight Lyme Disease

Most of us here in Jackson Hole know about the benefit that was held for Stacey Dana Price and her fight against Lyme Disease this past Saturday, Oct 20th. Proceeds are going to help her with her mounting medical bills. Stacey also used the event as a venue to benefit our community as well: to help educate us about Lyme Disease. While the event is over the raffle for the coolest prize ever continues. If you didn’t have a chance to participate in the benefit you still have the opportunity to win a year’s worth of monthly massages. Just think, you can support a fellow community member while supporting yourself as well! The raffle will continue until the last ticket has sold. Give yourself the love you deserve by honouring and healing your body, transform your life and watch as all things around you are positively affected. This powerful prize is comprised of 12 massages, one per month, for one year. You will experience the expertise of both Tina Seay from Healing Touch Massage and Stevie Duren from Bliss Bodywork as your massages will rotate between the two therapists. This is the ultimate healing package! Raffle tickets are $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20. Contact Tina Seay (307) 413-3494 to purchase your tickets now before they sell out! Easy Detox? The Sudatonic Body Wrap (part 2)

What does this FIR (far infrared) wrap do? Well, it does many things. Here is the basic breakdown (pun intended 😉 ). The special herbal creams are applied prior to and after being in the wrap. These promote the breakdown of fat under the skin and improve circulation around fat. If you don’t already know, most toxins are stored in adipose (fat) tissue. If you “melt” the fat you release the toxic material. That, in and of itself, my friends, is a detox. You are then wrapped in the FIR blanket for a full 40 minutes. During this time the infrared technology raises your body temperature….a lot. It is like an induced fever and is thought that vermin like bacteria, viruses and other nasties that make you sick are killed in this process. Because of this it is believed that if you are sick this can essentially help you get well fast. It is my recommendation that you come in for your wrap as soon as you feel like you’re coming down with something; that way we can get rid of it quick and keep you from getting sick. This is not a guarantee, but I have seen it happen. The Sudatonic wrap also increases circulation dramatically, which helps to heal broken bones, muscle tissue and other soft and hard tissues by exponentially increasing cell nutrition and oxygenation. The heart works hard during this process, trying to cool the body down – hence the super circulation, so you are simulating exercise. It is said that one wrap can burn up to 600 calories and simulate a 6-9 mile run. The herbal creams and FIR technology help to liquify fat and cellulite and it’s converted into fatty acids your body uses while working so hard in the wrap. I know, I know…sounds bogus. However, when you see people doing 2-3 wraps in a week and losing pants sizes….well, you start to wonder if there isn’t something to this….and no, it’s not water weight.

FIR treatments can be beneficial for those suffering from:

  • Arthritis
  • Sciatica and backache
  • Diabetes
  • Varicose Veins
  • Cellulite
  • Neuritis
  • Bursitis
  • Rheumatism
  • Strained Muscles and injury
  • Stretch Marks
  • Menstrual Cramps
  • Radiation Sickness
  • Cancer Pain
  • Compression Fracture Pain
  • Gastritis
  • Asmtha

Sudatonic wraps are also proven to remove toxins such as sodium, alcohol, nicotine, cholesterol and carcinogenic heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, zinc, nickel and mercury. These are flushed out of your system through your sweat glands.

I suppose the proof is in the pudding, as they say. I’ve seen a lot of pudding myself. There’s no denying the putrid smell of the sweat that is exuded in this process. Everyone is always fascinated by the sight and scent of their sweat after this treatment. It’s also cool to see what you’ve expelled after one of these wraps. Come see for yourself! Easy Detox? The Sudatonic Body Wrap

Most people would like to know the easiest way to detoxify their bodies. The first thing that comes to my mind is….isn’t this an oxymoron? My answer is, in a word, yes. To truly detoxify your body’s systems it needs time, nutritional support and rest. This means a lot of commitment on the part of the person who wants to clean out their vessel. There is way too much information to get into a meaningful discussion on the subject of detoxification here, however, if you’re interested in finding out more you can contact me via my website: http://connectionjh.com/bliss-bodywork/

So, for those of you who want to do a detox without the commitment or effort there is an answer that I have discovered. To my knowledge this is the most effective way to detoxify the body without doing anything but laying in a body wrap. While this does not come anywhere close to a 30 day, full body cleanse whilst juice fasting, this will elicit the most profound results of any 2 hour detox program anywhere. What is this method already (I can hear you saying)?! It’s called a Sudatonic body wrap. It’s a fancy name for a pretty amazing combination of herbal creams, detox massage strokes and far infrared technology in a body blanket.

This wrap has been around for awhile, however, I have only been working with it for about a year. I had known about it for maybe a year before that, but as I’m a skeptic, I bushed it off as being hype. Then I was asked to do one as an emergency favour, which I accepted. I got trained in it and experienced it and that’s when my opinion started to change…then I gave the wrap to the emergency client, heard his story and I was forever converted. I learned this client (who was once virtually incapacitated from serious injury) went from being unable to move without intense pain to going back to his (insane) routine of mountain schlepping and deep sea diving. I worked with this person a number of times at the end of his treatment plan and saw miraculous results. I’m a fan.

Now the wrap was used to treat injured muscle and bone tissue in this case, as well as to break down scar and connective tissue which cocooned areas and rendered them rather immobile. Astonishing the results. These are just a few of the myriad benefits this wrap has to offer. Don’t worry, this DOES actually pertain to detoxing! To find out how and the major benefits check out tomorrow’s post! You can also go to http://connectionjh.com/bliss-bodywork/ to schedule your own Sudatonic body wrap appointment.
